Melissa Bane Sevier is a published author and photographer. She has written in many formats and fields, and her photos have been used in a variety of settings.

Her first book, Journeying Toward Renewal: A Spiritual Companion to Pastoral Sabbaticals, published by The Alban Institute, 2002. It is still on the market, here. A second book was published in 2017 by the Presbyterian Church.

These days, she writes and takes pictures almost exclusively for businesses and individual clients (though there might be another book in the works someday). Check out the photography portfolio here.

Practically born a grammar and syntax nerd, Sevier’s years as a teacher, headhunter, and pastor prepared her perfectly for a career in helping businesses and individuals achieve their best goals. Her greatest professional joys come from working with great people to create successful images and written product.

When not working, Sevier loves to hang with her husband, read, jog, hike, camp, garden, and cook. Oh, and she eats chocolate every day.
